“Easy, gentle, loving Bruce is one our all-time favorite dogs. He’s such an easy, mellow, great dog, and loves people with a devotion that’s joyous to see. He SMILES sooooo big when he greets a familiar face, and he’s mellow, patient, and loving to all humans- young and old, alike.

How this gentle boy hasn’t been snatched up yet is surprising. Bruce was rescued four months ago from an overcrowded shelter up north, and he’s blossomed in the care of his foster home. Bruce loves to be groomed, take leisurely strolls, go for car rides, and just be anywhere his human is!!!!

Bruce is completely house trained, well-mannered and knows “sit” and “stay”. He walks nicely on leash, and he has good recall while off-leash.
Bruce is neutered, fully-vaccinated and is great with kids. Bruce would be happy as an only dog, but he also would love a well-matched doggy friend, especially female dogs or submissive male dogs. No cats, though…

Bruce’s ideal home would be just about anywhere…city or country, house or apartment…Bruce’s only need is that he can hang out with his human for a good part of the day. Perhaps a stay-at-home parent, or a retiree, or someone who works from home. Bruce is happiest just being near his people, and he’s so quiet and calm that he will lie sweetly at your feet for hours!! Bruce also loves car rides, and is a perfect passenger…..he’d love to accompany you on errands or hikes, or even if you drive for a livin’ Bruce would be happy to be your sidekick!

Bruce is 6 yrs. old, 65lbs, and has a beautiful, soft sienna-colored coat.

He can be brought to you for a meet ‘n greet anywhere in the greater Bay Area…this is a courtesy posting for the doggy doula.
