Bodhi

Bodhi is a beautiful boy of unknown breeding….we rescued him from death row in an overcrowded shelter in northern California where he had ended up as a stray dog that no one ever came to pick up. ….which is too bad becuase this dog has clearly been well-loved in his young life!! He is affectionate, silly, happy and playful, and his breeding could be anything from a german shepherd maybe mixed with Husky!?!? —but whatever he is mixed with, it’s mostly fun and good energy!! Bodhi is a charmer, and he never fails to get all of the attention when he’s out about town with his foster mom and foster doggy-brother!

Bodhi is 60lbs, 1 yrs old, neutered heatlthy and full of happiness and good cheer! This dog is a people-pleaser who loves to do whatever is asked of him…and boy, does he listen!! His foster mom has assigned him his own spot in the house on a blanket on the floor, and Bodhi knows that he must stay on the blanket unless he is invited off,…and he does just that!! he wants so much to please his people, and so for someone that has had a dog before and knows how to give guidance, then Bodhi will be your devoted companion! (but, new dog owners beware—-this boy can sense if you are a push-over and he could get into mischief if he senses you wont give him boundaries in the house!!).
Bodhi is also great with other dogs and loves to play, play, play!! He and his doggy-playmate chase each other for hours in the backyard, and Bodhi even lets his playmate catch him and lay on top of him and Bodhi is happy to play the submissive boy in the game!!
Bodhi is a happy, healthy dog that wants so much to have a family of his own….whether that family is single, coupled or part of a bigger family group makes no matter—just as long as his new family has time to give him the exercise and attention he deserves every day, then he will be happy and devoted and affectionate for just about any experienced dog-lover!! (young kids may not like Bodhi’s forgetfulness….as sometimes he gets too excited and jumps up to play, so maybe kids over 10 yrs old would be best!)
