Huskey Mix, 6 years old.
Please help us save Halle!!! She is so scared and alone at the shelter, and she cant figure out why she’s stuck there after having had a home of her own……,she is 6 years old, 68lbs, and ended up in the pound to no fault of her own. She has been there over a month now, and she needs your help if she is to make it out soon!! Halle is a loving, good-natured girl. She is affectionate, enjoys attention and is very people oriented. She is so happy to give and receive hugs…and is very playful and eager to please!! Can you open your heart to this deserving dog? She has such a soft, beautiful coat, and she is very smart, too! She can ‘sit’ on command, and plays nicely with her doggy kennelmate. She has a cute way of bouncy around the play-yard, and she is pretty easy going considering the stress of being stuck in a cage for 23+ hours a day! Please help us save her by responding to this posting ASAP!!
Halle is being sponsored by The Dog Shack Rescue. We are an all-volunteer rescue group that saves the lives of worthy dogs on death row in rural northern California shelters. We can only save these deserving dogs with your help, though—-as we need foster homes to give the dog a short term place to live while we actively search for an adoptive home. Our foster volunteers are treated like gold—we will support you in whatever way you may need….from training advice to supplies (crate, food, leashes, etc.). We just need you to open your heart and home and take in Halle so that we can spare her life and buy her the extra time she needs to find a nice new forever home. Halle will be spayed once she is rescued….she has passed her temperament tests and should be fine with kids and or dogs. We don’t know how she is with cats, and will not be able to test that before we rescue her. We do not know if she is house broken, although she is old enough and healthy enough to hold her potty all day….we will provide a crate to her foster home to help prevent accidents when you are not around, but there is no way to guarantee that she wont have a few ‘oops’ in the house….so, please don’t respond unless you are okay with this unknown!!
