Golden Retriever Mix.

Beautiful, sweet Gilda came to us from a kill shelter in Northern California. She is a nice medium sized dog and very loving! Gilda is 3 years old, is housebroken and knows basic commands. She is very smart and motivated to please her people. She was a stray dog and so her exact breed in unkown, but with longer golden hair we believe her to be a golden Retriever mix. Ms. G. loves to go for walks and play. The shelter life has been stressful on poor, sweet Gilda. Slow dog introductions are needed initially as she has grown frustrated recently having to see dogs thru her kennel fence all day and may bark and grumble at them through the fence, but will knock it off when told!  We have come to learn after Gilda has separation anxiety.  She will need to go to a home that has the time to make sure she can trust again. Gilda aims to please and so an owner who knows dog behavior should have no problem integrating Gilda in any setting! And as a single dog she would be great right now!!
