Buddy
Happy Buddy just wants a pal to call his own.He walks great on-leash, has perfect recall when loose, and he’s house trained and he loves everyone he meets! He’s so cute to watch playing with his toys as he throws them up in the air and catches them over and over! Also, he’s a great jogging partner and really enjoys fetch!! Buddy is a young boy–1 to 2 years of age, weighs 70lbs and is neutered. He has a strong protective instinct with his people and property, so he will need to be adopted by an experienced owner who had a chessie or similar breed before. Buddy would be happiest in a lower stimulas home-definitely not in the city. He is not happy going to dop parks, but if you have room for him to roam, then he will be a devoted, lovable companion for you! A bit about the breed. Chesapeake Bay Retriever (aka Chessies) were bred to protect the days’ catch of ducks left in their owners’ boas after the hunt. As such, Chessies will protect trucks, yards, etc. that belong to their owner, while the owner is away.
