Winnie
Fabulous Winnie is a strikingly beautiful dog, and oh- so sweet, too! She is appx. 1-2 yrs old, weighs 57lbs and is a total lovebug. Her foster mom adores her, and she is such a silly, happy dog. She has been evaluated by a professional trainer and passes with high marks. She likes to play, but relaxes nicely when done. She may like to share her home with a dog pal, but make no mistake, she is a people dog, through and through, and she adores the ladies!! Winnie is not good with cats, as she likes to give chase! Winnie is an amazingly good dog, and she will be happiest in a home where she can get lots of cuddles, belly rubs and people time!! She is a swimmer, too, so water access would be icing!! Winnie plays too rough with smaller dogs, so a home with a bigger, mellow dog would be best. No dog parks for this gal, as she is overly excited and can play rough, but she is great for off-leash hikes and walks along the beach! Winnie needs a home with an experienced owner so she can get better with her leash-walking skills!
The Dog Shack dogs are fostered in homes around the greater Bay Area, as we do not have a shelter of our own. We are all volunteers who bring these homeless dogs into our own homes and care for them until they are adopted. Therefore, we have no facility for you to visit the dogs, but we will direct you to the specific foster home once an adoption application has been approved. The Forest Knolls address is simply a mailing address, and each dog may be in a foster home anywhere in Napa, Sonoma, Marin, SF, Alameda, San Mateo, Contra Costa, Solano, Santa Cruz, and or Santa Clara counties. We will gladly arrange a meeting with you and the dog you are interested in at a location convenient for you once we have your application.
Winnie is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
