Dot is a sweet, silly puppy who was recently rescued after being stuck in the pound for two months with her brother, Dash. Dot is appx 6 months old, weighs 45lbs and should grow to about 60lbs when full grown. She is a happy, affectionate dog who is at the perfect age to bond with her new owner(s) and learn all about the fun there is to be had in life! She will need a little coaxing and patience in the beginning, since she is just now getting out in the world. Right now everything is new to her, and she is a bit unsure….but, with experienced dog owners, she will quickly blossom and gain confidence. She loves to play with toys and other dogs! She is a major affection-hog, so be prepared to give her tons of petting and scratches and belly rubs!!
Dot is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
Dogshack believes that if a little network of kind, dog-loving and dog-competent people would form this kind of safety-net around an animal control facility near you, so many more soulful brown eyes would continue to sparkle with the gift of life, and look at you adoringly! What better reward, for really not so much trouble, as many hands make the work light! If you seriously consider doing this, we will be glad to tell you what we have learned over the past 10 years of fostering and emergency rescue! Of course the same can be done for kitty-cats...or bunnies...or what ever people have decided to breed for pets and then abandon!
