Komet – Adopted! Thank you!
Komet is currently in emergency boarding and is in urgent need of a competent foster home anywhere in the bay area, although preferrably in the North Bay. Please email pets.katrina@gmail.com for more details.
Update on Komet!!! One-year old, very mixed-breed (boxer? lab?), 60 pound boy.
Our Komet is a bright and playful pup who loves his humans and dog playmates. He loves to go
for car rides to offleash trails and dogparks and he has many dogpals. Komet would be a great
playmate to a similarly-energetic male or female dog.
Komet has some herding instinct, so he shouldn’t be homed with other herding breeds
(as they may gang up on smaller dogs in offleash situations).
Komet is also very person-oriented and would just as soon not be left
without his human for very long, although this behavior lessens with
the presence of another dog pal.
He is a very quick learner and stays close to you on hikes. He is
crate and leash trained, good in the car, and loves to go to the beach and swim and
run. Komet is good with kids. He will herd cats, but can probably adjust to family-cat.
Komet is just an overall supergreat, joyful, family dog! Some
additional basic training will make him your perfect pal.
