Bella! – Adopted!!
Bella is an approx 2 year old female who was rescued from a high kill shelter days before her time was up due to overcrowding. She is now living in a foster home waiting to find her forever family. Bella is a super sweet dog with a fantastic personality, she enjoys running and exploring, but also loves to cuddle and spend time lounging at home. She is guessed to be a Lab mixed with a herding breed which would explain her smaller size ( approx 40 lbs) and one beautiful sky-blue eye.
Bella is great with other dogs, she is super playful and submissive….she can actually convince dogs who normally don’t play to give it a try! She is currently being fostered by a dog walking couple and their 4 dogs, so she has been introduced to many many dogs and has been great. She’s also living with cats and is comfortable with them…however she likes to chase other animals such as chicken, wild turkey and deer when hiking, but she comes back as soon as she realizes you aren’t following her on her hunt 
Bella absolutely needs to run and explore off leash every day, otherwise she will become bored and anxious. She is a fantastic escape artist so she would not do well left alone in a backyard all day as she would likely find a way out just for the fun of it!
She is on the timid side and is not so comfortable with loud noises or sudden movements, these things make her cower briefly. Bella would thrive with an active owner who can build up her confidence and take her on regular hikes and excursions. She would not do well with daily leash walks or small fenced in dog parks…she really needs the chance to run and explore.
