Rajah – Adopted!

Rajah is a happy, exuberant ‘teen’ boy looking for a ‘forever’ home, where he’ll get plenty of loving care, play time, kind training and the loyalty he deserves and will return a thousand-fold.
He came to the Humboldt County Shelter as a stray with his pal and probable brother as 8 month old kids. We suspect these were both adopted by their abandoning human as cute, irresistible pups; then, as they grew up without proper guidance and attention became ‘too much’. How sad.
Rajah was put up for adoption at the shelter but, when he began to alarm bark while in his kennel, he was considered not adoptable. His new status dictated either euthanasia or placement with a private rescue. Because of his wonderful, sweet, gentle, playful abandon outside of the kennel, the dog rescue volunteers at the shelter worked hard to find a place for him. Lucky for us and for Rajah, a dog-rescue friend in Marin County agreed to take him as a foster dog in order to save his life.
Since his move to Marin County a few weeks ago, Rajah has proven to be a wonderful boy to have around. He loves to play with toys, loves to romp, loves to cuddle and be close to kind people, and loves to play with other dogs. A home with people who will give him the love, care and time he needs to be a healthy, happy guy is all that’s required!
If you’re looking for a young pooch, one that’s way beyond puppy problems but still very puppy-like, Rajah could be for you. This loyal, alert, outgoing sweetheart who loves people with every ounce of his big heart is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. He weighs about 60 pounds.
