Bella is a sweet 2yr old Female Dalmation/Cattledog mix that weighs about 55lbs. She has a cute face with a “big black eye patch” and lots of beautiful black spots on her skin that show through her short white fur.

Bella is soo sad because her previous family just dumped her and her best buddy “Deveta” (also available for foster/adoption) at a cold over-crowded shelter.
Bella is a kind soul that is happy and friendly with all people, and she especially loves when you give her treats and lots of pets. She is up-to-date on shots and spayed.

We hope a kind-hearted person will come “sweep her off her paws” and make her a part of their family, so she can get all the love and attention she deserves.
Ideally a somewhat active home would be best for her, with a yard to romp and play in, but she is an “Indoors dog” so outdoors is just for fun and playing.
She wants to be a part of the family and live inside with her humans.
A family with older kids over 10yrs old would be fine.

LUCKY is a lucky boy indeed.. we just rescued him from a county in norcal where there is not even an animal control facility.. this sweet little boy was quite confused as to how he ended up with the sheriff!
We have found him to be very good with all dogs, and very bad with cats and other non-canine furry things that run.

He is a sweet affectionate boy and enjoys human company very much. He would enjoy a doggie friend to play with in the yard and yet cozy up with you on the couch to relax. He is very responsive, and has had some training.

If you are looking for an appreciative, sweet little guy to have outdoor adventures with and be your companion animal, he will be glad to meet you and possible his dog playpal!

DUKE is a handsome regal-looking 10 month old male German Shepherd/Pharaoh Hound mix.
He weighs about 50lbs, has a short brindle-colored coat, gorgeous eyes, and long legs that run gracefully like a colt.

DUKE was a found as a stray with his best friend BABY, probably after being abandoned, and they both ended up at an overcrowded rural shelter.
Due to lack of space they were scheduled to be euthanized, but our rescue network was able to get them into emergency boarding to save their lives.
However, this was just a short term situation and now Duke urgently needs a foster home (or adopter).

Duke is a bit timid right now and would do best in a home with people experienced in helping shy dogs, and also possibly with a dog pal to help show Duke the ropes and build his confidence. He is a fast learner and very attentive, especially when treats are involved which he takes with a gentle mouth!
He has already learned a few commands and how to use a doggie door. He is a playful happy boy that likes his toys and looks so cute when he carries them around in his mouth. He loves human companionship and is drawn to people with soft voices.

Duke is just waiting for a loving home with people that can help him decompress from his shelter experience and overcome his timidness, and work on his training.
He needs a family to provide him a real home for his true personality to come shining through. In return he will be a great friend and true companion!

Lanny was in a high kill shelter and on death row simply because they had run out of space for him.
Rescue volunteers realized this sweet guy deserved to be saved and sent out an urgent plea to the rescue community to help save him.
We were able to step up and get him out of the shelter and into a temporary foster home, but now he really wants to have a loving forever home to call his own.

Lanny’s foster says he is a true joy and a very loving boy, and he would do best in a home where his people will be home most of the time (or will take him with them).
He really wants to be part of a family where he can join in on all the fun and activities.

This ‘Little Miss Piggy’ is one exuberantly happy girl who cannot wait to finally start her new lease on life! Rescued just in time at age 8 mos from a small rural shelter, she has not been exposed to much other than stray and shelter life, and in her current boarding situation she plays well with all other dogs, and happily snores in her crate at night… ‘piggy -like’!

At the moment, anything excites Cassie while leashwalking, so an adopter would need to be dogsavvy to redirect her from wanting to eagerly meet anybody and any dog that walks by. She is very food oriented, so for the experienced dogperson this redirecting should take a matter of weeks, especially if Cassie can go to companion dog training classes with you and a breed-savvy trainer. Cassie is a motivated girl!

Cassie has the Boxer underbite and jowels, and is all white except for a tan spot on the butt, and then all the pink on the Very Cute Face.

Curran is a male yellow lab mixed with something fluffier and with a bulkier head! Curran’s fur is quite beautiful and thick! He knows ‘sit’ and walks well on leash. He gets a little excited and jumpy when he gets human attention, but once he figures out what is expected of him, he really wants to obey!

Curran is a great hanger-outer if you can take your dog to your workplace, or if you have a nice porch/yard for him to have access to when you are home. He is not a demanding dog, and he is all wags when it is walk/hike time; it is such a pleasure to see him so happy.

Curran is socialized with other dogs. We cannot test with cats but we can try and are hopeful.

Curran crates very well and has a calm demeanor. He will make a great housedog and hiking/walking buddy and you will never be lonely with a good, solid friend like Curran!

Coda was at a local overcrowded shelter where her TIME HAD RUN OUT due to lack of space.
She is such a lovely little girl that didn’t deserve to die, so we were able to get her out of the shelter and into temporary emergency boarding to save her life.
However, she is not happy in a kennel environment and needs to be in a loving safe home ASAP.

Coda would do best with people that have experience with shy timid dogs, who can help her decompress from her shelter experience. Also it would be good if her new home has a doggie door and access to outside, to help her be fully house broken.

We know when she is in a home environment where she feels safe and secure she will really blossom!
Coda does well with other dogs and kids (unknown with cats), walks well on a leash, and will make a wonderful addition to any home that can provide her the love and attention that she deserves!
